Family Support Services of North Florida
Family Support Services of North Florida (FSSNF) is the lead agency for foster care, adoption and family preservation in Duval and Nassau counties. FSSNF provides services and programs to help prevent child abuse and neglect, to promote a healthy family environment and to care for the community's children in foster care.
After completing a Time and Motion study with their case management staff, FSSNF realized caseworkers were only spending approximately 30% of their time directly with families, and the remaining time was held up by administrative duties and responsibilities. FSSNF wanted to find a way to ensure caseworkers could spend the majority of their time where they're needed most - with children and families.
FSSNF implemented Diona Visits to support caseworkers with their day-to-day responsibilities. This included allowing caseworkers to access their case details while out of the office, whether online or offline, improving their ability to engage with children and families, complete required forms and utilize their time in court.
